A really stunning set of Chinese export Tack Hing silver. We recently purchased this from a private client whose family worked in various Embassies around the globe. In the 30's & 40's his father worked in Shanghai and this is w he believed it to have been purchased. The set offered is for all 3 pieces as we do not believe they should be seperated. The tea pot is approx. 8 1/2 inches tall and 9 inches from the top of the handle to the spout. The covered sugar bowl is 4 inches tall and 6 inches wide from handle to handle. The creamer is 3 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches from handle to spout. It weighs a total of 37.5 troy ounces of 90% silver. The dragon motif is hand hammered and wraps around each item in exquisite detail. T is engraving on the lid of the tea pot and sugar bowl that is the same design as the hammered dragon. The handle of the tea pot is silver and either bone or ivory. The set was loved and enjoyed so I am posting many pictures so you are well informed on condition. T is a ding on the bottom footing of the creamer and t is a crease on the sugar bowl. The dragon on the sugar bowl has a dent that could easily be repaired by a reputable silversmith. As far as I can tell, the tea pot has no problems. We are not in the business of misrepresenting condition and would rather sound harsh in the description and have a happy read more
