(Grade revised)This is an extremely nice very fine- copy of Tales Of Suspense #40, April, 1963, featuring the second appearance of Iron Man and first in his gold armor. This one was a little tricky to grade but using the Official Overstreet Comic Book Grading Guide, that's how I came up with this grade (I've since revised the grade downward since I'm not sure I agree with the Grading Guide) The book is flat and clean with good cover colors with gloss. The pages are supple and are of a light cream in color. There is a tiny bit of wear at the bottom spine and some light marks on the bottom right corner - all acceptable according to the photos in the Grading Guide and the written detailed description in the book for this grade.The 2013 Overstreet Price Guide for this book in the stated grade is approximately $1250.00. The book will be very carefully packaged and shipped priority with insurance and a tracking number.
