Up for auction is a fine and extremely rare pair of late 40's or early 50's Alfredo Barbini Italian glass figurines. The tallest measures 11 3/4" by 6" wide at the skirt. The theme of these pieces seem to suggest a couple dressed up for a masquerade ball. Each figure has a glass dress going around them, but still showing their ruffled panties underneath. Amazingly, both pieces are in absolute mint original condition with no chips, cracks, stratches or hidden repairs, guaranteed. Other than the masks being black, these pieces and mostly white and gold in color. These figurines were bought out on an estate in the Washington D.C. area and then sold directly to me. Although these pieces are not signed, I am confident and will guarantee they were designed by Alfredo Barbini around 1950. I will be starting the bidding on this pair at $750.00 with no reserve. Please check my feedback as I have received many positive comments on my packing, mailing, and quick response. All of my delicate items are double boxed in heavy duty corrugated boxes.
