Up for grabs here is a MK2 Tama Rockstar Japanese built Drum set. Most Tama's are now built in China, but not these fellers. These were Tama's Intermediate to Professional range back in 1991, and they sound superb. Birch and Basswood shells, with Hi tension lugs, and Tama's patented omniball tom holder, and externally mounted bass drum spurs, these are as solid as a rock, and sound fantastic, too. I still use mine for smaller gigs and rehearsals, and engineers always comment on its beefy sound. The kit is finished in Tama's famous black gloss wrap, as seen on the legendary Granstar and Artstar ranges of the day, grab yourselves a superb piece of kit for a fraction of the chinese rubbish out there. She has pitting to some lugs, and the odd scuff, but this kit is 20 years old, and still packs a punch. Please note, this auction is for the drums only, no stands, but the tom holder, and floor tom legs. Please check my other auctions for more Rockstar add on toms. Due to its size, this item is collection only. Sizes are 12" 13" 16" 22x16" bass drum
