This is the earlier and more valuable version of this David Copperfield series house. It was the first version released, subseque nt models were painted green. It is in excellent condition- no nicks, scratches, chips, etc. It comes in the original box and sleeve (some slight age spotting-see photo) and working light cord. Sorry, trees not included in this purchase. General Housekeeping  For Dept 56 "item condition" purposes, I define any collectible listed as "New" to refer to an older, retired stock item that generally has all the original parts and packaging (with or without signs of storage) that are in new condition and show no signs of display either on base or body of piece; items bought as an investment, stored and not displayed; or are an actual current piece that is new. If I have any doubt that it is in "new" condition, I will list the condition as "not specified" even though the piece may be in close to new cond ition or is new. If listed as "Used" it refers to any item that might be missing packaging (booklets, wrappers, tags, etc.) and has some signs of use and/or display. Dept 56 items are almost all individually, hand painted items. There will be naturally occurring spots where paint is heavier/lighter than other areas; where a paint color was mistakenly painted on another color or paint all together missed creating a "white" spot.
