This unusual teal colored bottle (inv# 398) dates from 1889-1900 . It has a partial label and JSP monogram embossed on the side. Monogram intials stand for Jos. S. Pedersen. Product and bottle were from Hamburg, imported to Greenwich st New York. No chips or cracks. Hand blown bottle has some creases in the glass at neck. Base has faint T.T. embossing. The color may not show true on you computer, (for some reason the cameras and monitors have a hard time with it) but it is NOT cobalt blue, pale aqua or green, it is a lovely deep teal or turquoise color. Looks great amid a collection of windowsill bottles because it is rarely seen in these old bottles. I have a few more detail photos of label, just ask and I will email to you (include your email please) . Bottle measures 9" tall, by 2 1/2" round.
