This auction is for 1 item.......... This is a genuine taxidermy Macaque species monkey paw mounted in glass free baroque style gold plastic frame. I have placed deep red faux velvet as a back drop and fixed the paw with a piece of hemp cord. The beauty of this curio is that the paw can be touched, so when people ask if its real and unsure of its authenticity you can actually touch the paw !! Then make your 3 wishes !! I liked these so much I added one to my own wall of curiosities!! The frame comes with fitted hangers so it can be hung on the wall or has a wooden stand on the rear so it can be placed to stand independently. Please be aware the frame is made of plastic not acrylic or resin. The frame is 34 cm x 28 cm / 13.5" x 11" as on outside frame dimension. The paws vary from 5-6" in length but there all as detailed as each other with long nails and bushy fur. There is another version of this in my other listing with a biblical back drop rather than velvet. No animals were harmed to make this item, the paws are simply remnants of bush meat for survival and killed for food. Not for any other purpose. This macaque species is not endangered but considered vermin in its native country, Indonesia. The selling of this item does not encroach on CITES policy for endangered species.
