On offer this Female Greenfinch in full feather and colour. Mounted perched on an apple in turn on a nice wood base trimmed with some flora. Measures 5.5 inches tall. Very good condition. All my pieces are done in the traditional way unless stated otherwise. Airmail small packets unrecorded £4.00 at the buyers risk, please let me know if you want it sent recorded £8.00 Good postage discount given on multiple buys. These days many specimens are found by the roadside. Road traffic is the largest cause of death to wildlife in the U.K. and it is estimated that million of animals and birds are killed by Road traffic and rail accidents and many more are killed by the domestic cat. A large percentage are found with little damage. The use of these specimens presents no threat to our wild life. There are lots of other reasons animals are killed, like pollution, thousands of birds are killed each year by accidentally flying into house windows. These are brought to me for taxidermy either for sale or as a collectable to keep. All my endangered species items are given LOG No's and details recorded of where and when found. We only sell modern items that come from reliable sources and none of our taxidermy is taken from the wild illegally. All my endangered species like birds of prey etc: will come with a certificate from DEFRA (Article 10)
