Taxidermy mount of a Red Fox kit (that's a young fox in case you didn't know- not a do-it-yourself). The youngster is seated on a segment of log with moss. Measures 13" high, log measures 13" by 7". Mounted in or around 1997 by a Georgia taxidermist for a Georgia hunter, nicely and professionally mounted and posed in a way that looks totally natural for a little fox. Fur in good condition- soft and not shedding. Tip of the right ear is a little bent- could have been mounted that way or it might have happened later- it does give a certain "cuteness" to the animal. Back tips of the ears are a little bare of hair. We also have an adult red fox in another auction so have a look.
