This Taylor 47A valve tester has been in my family for as long as I can remember but now the time has come for it to go to someone who has a use for it and is willing and able to restore it to working order. I am offering this valve tester as not working, for spares, repair or restoration, at the moment it has no mains lead and I wouldn't consider it safe to connect to the mains without a safety check. When connected to the mains it will contain lethal voltages and should only be used by someone with experience of similar vintage electrical equipment. As can be seen from the pictures it is in poor condition externally, t he meter pointer is broken and I would imagine the internal wiring is also in poor condition and no longer safe .I believe it dates from the late 1940s and therefore has all sorts of weird and wonderful valveholders (no B9A) the only one I can identify for sure is the Octal.I would prefer collection but will post if required, the p&p quoted is an estimate as I don't know the packed weight but any excess would be refunded. Please bear in mind that I may have to buy packaging materials.
