Up for your consideration is this Vintage TEAC 2300S Stereo Tape Deck in excellent working condition. A quality piece of high performance sound equipment from the 1970's. In excellent working and cosmetic condition. Cosmetically the tape deck looks fine. THE FACEPLATE IS CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!! - SOME SCRATCHES/BLEMISHES FROM NORMAL USE . The wood laterals are in very nice condition - some small nicks in the corners, but nothing major. With proper packaging this item with box will weigh 45/48 pounds. FULLY TESTED. This device find in perfect condition. Heads are demagnetized. As you can see from the pictures it is a classic model with a beautiful and unique style. TEAC represented the absolute state of the art in audio technology and quality, which provides the beautiful, rich, reel-to-reel tape decks. TEAC used only the finest, closest tolerance components, lowest noise solid state devices.This tape deck features a very nice design feature and all internal control pots and switches are super quality brand. The best brand TEAC could have picked. This TEAC 2300S is complete, with wonderful rich sound, in excellent condition both cosmetically and functionally. You can see from the photo just how wonderful this tape deck is and why it is still popular today with collectors of TEAC reel-to-reel.They are as pleasurable to look at as they are listening to. Will keep you riveted to your seat. It is a fine example of TEAC's quality and craftsmanship in open reel-to-reel device. It will make a fine addition to your home or office.Condition:- Functionally, This tape deck has been fully bench tested to meet all original specifications, or better. • All Switches and Controls have been Cleaned and Lubricated, there is No noise or static in any of the controls, they all work nice, smooth and perform perfectly. • All VU lights are working perfectly, and fully functional • Adjusted and realigned Play Back and Record section for optimum performance as over the years. Units DC offset and Bias Voltage has been set and adjusted. • All inputs, outputs and functions are fully bench tested. • The complete pinch roller mechanism were removed, cleaned of the old zinc oxide and lubed with new grease and Deoxit D5 for a longer life. All external parts, knobs, counter, tape guide were removed and cleaned• Cosmetically, This TEAC 2300S is super clean throughout and will arrive looking and sounding great! The faceplate is beautiful, and all lettering is crisp and clean. Some insignificant scratches/blemishes in the faceplate from normal use. Wood laterals are in very nice condition. Some nicks, but nothing major.
