For your consideration is a rare Technics RS-9900US Professional Series Stereo Cassette Deck. This 53 lb combo listed for $2000.00 back in 1979 (that's over $6000.00 in todays money). This particular unit is in excellent condition with light use. I bought it from the original owner who had (2)! of these and this was used as a backup. The only cosmetic issues are some light rack rash and the top edge of the transport unit has some paint missing which I suspect is caused from the amplifier unit being moved from the top a few times. Please note that it is just paint missing and that there are no scratches, dents etc. of any kind. If it weren't for these aforementioned defects this unit would be quite nice cosmetically. I will easily give it a 9 of 10. Lettering is fresh and crisp looking like it just came from the factory. Functionally the unit sounds fantastic. One of these units was listed here on ebay about a week ago (# 190458878500) that was missing both cords and was cosmetically challenged and didn't include the shipping cartons but still fetched almost $500.00. Do a completed search to find out. Back to this unit. The HPF heads look new and show no visible signs of use. All (3) motors look and operate excellently. Belts have been replaced by me.
