G-Technology G-RAID Thunderbolt 2/USB 3.0 enclosure is brand new unused unit for 16 TB storage capacity ( manufactured on may 2015. Sealed box opened on 10/09/2015. It is not a refurbished /re-certified unit! Drives are lightly used high performance enterprise class HGST DRIVES 2x4TB totaling 8 TB (HGST Hitachi Ultrastar HUS724040ALE640 0F14683 7K4000 4TB SATA 7.2K RPM 3.5" HDD, manufactured on may 2013) unit comes with original box, 2x4TB installed drives, power adapter, usb3 cable and thunderbolt cable. It can be configured for RAID 0 for Performance, RAID 1 for data security or JBOD (individual drives) for maximum storage.
