The item you are buying is an official American League baseball signed by Boston Red Sox great, Ted Williams. Williams signed it beautifully on the sweetspot. The baseball is both authenticated and graded by PSA/DNA and also has the Ted Williams 9 hologram. The overall grade is 8.5 (autograph grades a 9, baseball grades an 8). Grade certification # from PSA/DNA - 81513753. Autograph certification # from PSA/DNA E59877. Ted Williams is one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He was the last player to hit at least .400 in a season (.406 in 1941). He had a career batting average of .344 and hit 521 hrs despite missing time for military service twice. He was a 2x MVP and 2x Triple Crown winner. He played in 17 all star games and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
