One pair of vintagegreat sounding audio tubes ECC803 S, original Telefunken, made in Ulm, West - Germany. Production code is the same by both tubes: U 8000401B Diamond mark in tube bottom, gold pins, famous frame grid construction. The Telefunken made ECC803S is the best sounding 12AX7 / ECC83 / E83CC / CV4004 / 5751 tube ever made. The offered tube has been only used several hours in a high end preamp for testing its quality and sound - great results! I tested extra these tubes in really DC condition with the L1-3 tube tester (very precise tester with all DC voltage stabilized) according Telefunken data sheet for ECC803S tubes, with a anode voltage +250 V, and the grid voltage - 2 V. This pair is absolutely perfect matched - both tubes have the same technically parameter! According the data sheet a new tube ECC803S/ECC83 must have a anode current about minimum 1,2 mA, and the transconductance must be 1,6 mA/V. The test results of anode current, and the transconductance (dynamic slope) is absolutely perfect: Anode current is 1,4 mA+1,4 mA and 1,4 mA+1,4 mA Transconductance (dynamic slope): 1,6 mA/V+1,6mA and 1,6 mA/V+1,6mA No gas!
