TEPCO Restaurant Platter Early California Donner Party 1846 Theme. Wells Fargo, Pony Express, Cattle Drive, Wagon Train. You are bidding on a Vintage heavy-duty restaurant oval platter from the 1940's or 50's. My husband's grandfather worked for a restaurant chain during those years. They were from National Corp. of America Restaurants called California Kitchen and White Log Tavern. It is very rare because the pattern was exclusive to this restaurant chain. It has the words "TEPCO U.S.A. CHINA" " Patent Pending, MFG exclusively for National Corporation of America by TEPCO China U.S.A" on the bottom. The design around the outside edge of the platter is a Wells Fargo stagecoach, Early California, a Pony Express rider leaving a Wells Fargo Station, a cowboy driving longhorn cattle and an ox driven wagon train. The central design represents pioneer spirit of the tragic "Donner Party 1846". It is a tan color with reddish-brown design. It measures approx. 13 inches by 9 inches in diameter.
