I am selling my Gus Lundquiest Test Pilot of the X-1 autographed 4x6 photo. Test pilots are aviators who work both for military organizations and (mostly aerospace) companies. Being a test pilot of military aircraft, in particular, is regarded as the most challenging and risky flying conducted in peacetime, and is tfore the pinnacle of military aviation. In the 1950âe(tm)s, test pilots were being killed at the rate of about one a week. You will receive the same 4x6 photograph that is pictured in the scan.
