A nice little car from my collection. A vintage 1/24 scale XVR-2 prototype slot car, made by Testors in 1966. The XVR-2 Custom Coupe was a show car, made for GM in England in 1966. The Body : Original Testors XVR-2 vac-formed body, painted blue/silver metallic. The body is in overall good condition, but the rear wheelwells have been enlarged, and there are some cracks in the rear pan (see photos). Correct and original vac-formed interior insert, vintage decals. The Chassis : Nice original Testors aluminum sidewinder chassis, correct for this car. Good running Testors 36D motor. Correct wheels and tires, free-wheeling fronts, foam rear slicks are a bit hard from age, correct knockoff spinners. Chassis is freshly restored, clean and straight. Overall : A fairly rare car, a shame about the cut wheelwells, but still nice to look at. Feel free to ask any questions. ...
