For you consideration, is one of the featured items in my soon to be released book on Texas Centennial collectibles. This is a toy, non-firing pistol that is an exact replica of the famous Colt 45 "shootin' iron" that played such an important part in Texas history. These souvenirs were originally sold at the Judge Roy Bean "Law West of the Pecos" exhibit at the Central Exposition in Dallas. The gun is about 10 1/2 inches long and is made of molded metal (type unknown). On one side it is marked "Texas Centennial 1936" and on the other side "The Law West of the Pecos." Condition is very good for it's age but t is some flaking of the paint on the handle. If you like I will include a signed certificate authenticating that this exact gun is depicted in my book. That may not make it any more valuable but I don't see how it could hurt. Guaranteed original and authentic. Returnable ONLY if the item is materially different than listed. Otherwise, all sales are final so please bid accordingly. Fully insured shipping will $8.00 (non-negotiable). Sorry, but I ship only to the United States. Payment methods accepted for this item are Paypal (confirmed address required) or money order. Concerning money orders, a U.S. Postal Money Order is preferred and will result in immediate shipping.
