Within a few months, four of the Beatles' songs topped our record charts, and they had changed rock 'n' roll forever. This commemorative set presents the Fab Four in concert: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr--complete with drum set. Display them on your tree or on their own stage with two microphones." Ah, yes, I remember vividly sitting in our living room, as a young teenager, watching these shaggy-haired, irresistibly handsome and wild (yes, wild at that time) lads from Liverpool performing on the Ed Sullivan Show. I collected every record they made (sure wish I still had those). I also remember the scowl on Grandma's face, as she sat t with her arms crossed, grumbling "hmpf" over and over. Anyhow, enough nostalgia..... I purchased this set on eBay for my grown daughter (another Beatles fan) under the pretense that it was new (with a no return policy).
