The Chicago, serial number 8654. A good example of this famous type-cylinder machine from the late 1890s.Cosmetic condition: stencil and pinstripes are in excellent condition. Paint is in very good condition, with a few scratches. T is light damage to a few nickeled surfaces, and light rust on some parts. The typewriter would benefit from thorough cleaning and polishing with a rotary tool. Mechanical condition: All parts are present, as far as I know. Mainspring is not working, needs repair. Pull cord has been replaced with a modern nylon cord. All other parts appear to be working well. One end of the paper holder / scale has broken (marked with a red arrow). This could be repaired with some good glue, I believe. Feel free to ask any questions.
