You are bidding on an original authentic double-sided rolled unused movie poster for the upcoming Batman The Dark Knight movie starring Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, the late Heath Ledger, and directed by Christopher Nolan. This style is known as the advance teaser version "B" which features an image of Heath Ledger as The Joker standing behind a foggy mirror with "Why So Serious?" etched in blood red lettering. The term "Double-Sided" means the image on the front of the poster is also printed on the back but in reverse. This is done for the movie theater light box frames that you see in and out of movie theaters. This poster is a full 27x40 inches in size (standard original movie poster size) , rolled, and in mint, never displayed condition. Original movie posters such as this, are intended for movie theaters only, and they are not sold in stores. I have been involved in the original movie poster for the past 18 years, and unlike the majority of movie poster dealers and sellers, including those on eBay, I strictly offer originals, never reprints, previously displayed posters, video store posters, etc. Original movie poster collecting is a great hobby to get into because they can be quite collectible and valuable over time, with some posters such as this Batman style having great investment opportunities due to the rarity of it. If you happen to have any questions about original movie posters in general, please feel free to ask. Don't be fooled by the large number of fake unofficial Batman The Dark Knight items being sold on eBay, such as fan-made items, or photo enlargements taken from the movie trailer, etc. This very same poster sells through other poster dealers for as high as $150 each, however, I believe in pricing my posters more affordable for collectors, however, because this poster is so rare, with most dealers unable to obtain them, the prices will only rise due to low supply and high demand. Don't be fooled by others offering previously used posters in theaters but stating they are in mint condition, or those who offer up reprints. If you want a genuine original, then that is what you are bidding on The majority of those who sell movie posters on eBay are not involved in the movie poster industry, only a very small percentage of sellers are, so make sure you are buying from someone who is knowledgeable about movie posters. T are a few honest movie poster sellers on eBay, but the majority of the sellers on eBay misinformed their auctions by providing inaccurate item descriptions, etc, so if you have any questions about original movie posters please feel free to ask me.
