This original mint print entitled THE DOCTOR came from a Philadelphia calendar company that closed in the 1950's. They used the 6 color print process on glass plates that produced rich vibrant colors not found today. The 1875 Eastlake frame has 3 layers:walnut - burled wood w/incised delicate pattern & gold brown stripe compo. Excellent condition. Overall size 13 3/4 x 15 3/4 inches.
