10 issues from 1967 of the underground Detroit newspaper The Fifth Estate Issues included are: Feb. 15-28 (Vol. I, No. 24); March 15-31 (Vol. I, No. 26); April 15-30 (Vol. 2, No. 2); May 15-31 (Vol. 2, No. 4); July 1-15 (Vol. 2, No. 7); August 1-15 (Vol. 2, No. 9); October 15-31 (Vol. 2, No. 13); November 1-15 (Vol. 2, No. 14); November 16-Novembre 30 (Vol. 2, No. 15); and December 15-30 (Vol. 2, No. 18). T are articles on the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Dick Gregory, right-wing vandalism, anti-war protests, love-ins, draft resisters, and Allen Ginsberg; t are interviews with both Paul McCartney and George Harrison; cartoons by Ron Cobb and Skip Williamson; film and music reviews; and lots of great vintage photographs and ads. The papers are all slightly yellowed with age, and have a few tears (one has a mailing label and postage), but overall they are free of chips, stains, or any handwriting.
