The Franklin Mint - The 1974 Official Bicentennial Commemorative Plate of the Bicentennial Council of the Thirteen Original States. This plate is minted in solid Sterling Silver with a sculptured scene in 24kt gold electroplate on sterling. The legend on the rim "...all that I hope for in this life, I stake on our cause!" is etched and inlaid with 24kt gold. This plate portrays the great American patriot John Adams defending the cause of independence before the Continental Congress. Includes Certificate of Authenticity, including serial number. Original library case designed to display and protect plate included. In excellent condition!! Rarely, if ever, removed from the case. I am also listing 1973 and 1975 Commemorative plates and will combine shipping.
