We are offering from a local estate a RARE and hard to find Giuseppe Cappe sculpture called The Painter or "Il Pittore". "The Old Maestro bemoans the lack of interest in his fine watercolours since the arrival of the abstact school which has left him short of clients". Cappe one of the premier sculpturers of our day is a much sought after artist. I understand he will soon be retiring as he is nearing his 90's.This piece is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs and comes with a signed CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY from an authorized Capodimonte dealer. It is complete with a picture of the piece appraised, 1960 date of issue, Catalogue number : 66/158, size:18 x 33cm (13" tall by 7" at the widest point) and picture confirming the piece. This figure is from the Italian G. Cappe Works of Art studio. This piece is a must have for the Cappe or Capodimonte collector. Please use the photos as part of the item description.
