Co. , New Britain , CT.This unique little lantern has a tiny lift-out tin lamp within its glass tumbler body. the hinged chimney/lid is embossed "Star Patented Jan.13,1874, Tumbler" and is also embossed with a star design on all four sides.Glass tumbler has no cracks or chips and the lantern is 5 3/4" tall (handle down) and 8 1/4" tall with the handle up.Ref: Thuro Vol. #3This piece is in excellent condition.
