The Trail of the Painted Ponies GIVE ME WINGS From the the 2nd release of Painted Ponies, this Pony was honored with RETIREMENT in July, 2005 and is SOLD OUT. As set forth in the description tag, this Pony was sponsored by High Desert Bank and created by Artist, Kathy Morrow. Many of the Painted Ponies carry mesages or themes, and this is one for our time. It was inspired by a poem Kathy wrote after the events of September 11: "I will not forget those who sacrificed on the altar of freedom. Precious freedom, give me wings to soar beyond my dreams and touch the stars." Item no. 1471 Limited Edition no. 3E/6318 (only 3 editions of this Pony were produced, the last number being 7462) This item comes from a smoke free home has the tag, and original styrofoam and box. Item was removed only to be photographed for this auction.
