Original 1st/only printing 22 x 28" hand pulled silkscreen concert poster for the Who with Led Zeppelin at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD on 5/25/1969. Art by T. Silverman, this is the artist's own personal copy. A near mint copy of this poster recently sold in public auction for over $14,500.Medium thick stock silkscreened poster is in very good (B to B/B-) condition; other than a minor bit of handling/edge wear, a clean set of tack holes, a few small area of paper loss in the lower left, a few slight stress bends, a bit of toning, it is very bright and clean. The poster is currently framed under glass, but the frame can be easily removed for shipping. This is, to our knowledge, the first time this poster has been offered on eBay.Classic (and very scarce) early domestic poster for both bands. This show has gained notoriety as the only time the Who (touring behind the just-released "Tommy") and Led Zeppelin (only on their second US tour) shared a stage on US soil. The Who were theoretically the headline act on this show (they played a longer set), but by the time Zeppelin returned in the fall of '69, they shared headlining status with no one.
