Museum Exhibition Poster : Theo van Gogh , PARIS 1999brother of Vincent van GoghUp for Sale is an original poster from the museum exhibition " Theo van Gogh: art dealer, collector, brother of Vincent." The exhibit took place in 1999 (from 29 septembre to 9 janvier 2000) in Paris. The sponsor was the Musee d'Orsay.Theo van Gogh, of course, was the brother of Vincent van Gogh. He was an acclaimed art dealer and collector - and the most ardent supporter (both financially and otherwise) of Vincent van Gogh during his brother's darkest hours.The poster features a portrait of Theo van Gogh as a young man. The poster size is 16" wide x 24" tall.I was visiting Paris at the time and attended the exhibition - bought the poster as we left the museum. The poster has been in a "frameless" frame for over 20 years and has thus been protected from nicks and tears. I will ship unframed, rolled up in a hard sided tube.NB : on the chance a buyer is near Savannah GA (25 minutes from I-95), the poster (in the FRAME, as shown) is available for local pickup at no charge.Otherwise, shipping will be in a tube via USPS.
