uareTrade © AP6.0 You are bidding on an antique bone china demitasse cup and saucer by Theodore Haviland Limoges France, Patent Applied For, in the pattern known as Schleiger #340 - IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, pre-owned with no flaws noted. Glazed white china demitasse tea cup and saucer feature a scalloped, raised, embossed gold plated border with a floral pattern of small pink roses with green leaves with blue scroll-look detailing. Approximate measurements of demitasse tea cup are 2.5" in diameter (exclusive of handle, tapering to 1.5" at base) by 2.1" tall. Markings in deep red are " Theodore Haviland Limoges France Patent Applied For" and "F. W. Sanders & Co., Little Rock, Ark", the department store w dishes were purchased. Saucer measures approximately 4.9" in diameter. I am advised that this pattern has been out of production for 75 years and is one of the most popular production patterns Haviland every created.
