WARTIME PROPAGANDA THIMBLEThis aluminium thimble was made in Germany in 1939 and was intended for propaganda use, but this particular one was never issued. The slogan HEIL AND SEIG is inscribed around the thimble, which translates to "HEALTH AND VICTORY." This thimble is in excellent/new condition, with no chips, cracks or marks. Although it is listed as used, it has been kept behind a glass display cabinet as part of a treasured collection. The thimble is from my late aunt’s extremely large collection, which she amassed over a thirty year period… I will be gradually selling the whole collection over the coming months, so please take a look at my other items as there are some very rare and highly collectable thimbles on offer… I will combine postage for multiple items.
