Edison Inc., Ekonowatt motor-runs on either AC or DC current (there is an adaptor switch attached to the motor).This motor was used to power a number of Edison electric devices including the Edison cylinder phonographs and Edison Universal dictating machines, (Dictographs).The motor is in notably good physical / cosmetic condition, showing normal, not extreme, signs of user, age and storage.
