This one can be seen on their website. Smithsonian American Art Museum Printing A strong impression printed by the artist in warm black ink on a sheet of natural laid Arches paper. Presentation Placed in an archival ivory mat using archival materials. Blank on the back, not laid down. Ships in a plastic archival sleeve. Description Sfax, Tunis is one of several etchings that Thomas Handforth produced during his travels in North Africa during the last 1920s. The scene of this image is Grand Blvd. with the Grand Hotel in the background. It is a busy street scene done in Handforth's unique orientalist style.
