Thorite/ Uranothorite In Matrix from: Rosa #1 Trench Mount Rosa (Gold Camp Rd.) Teller County, Colorado Specimen Piece Measuring: Aprox. 3.5 in x 4.5in x 1.5in This is an excellent specimen piece With pieces of Thorite/ Uranothorite in matrix . Thorite/ Uranothorite is a Uranium/Thorium mineral with has a molecular composition of (Th,U)SiO4 . It is only "hot" in places but will register well on a Geiger Counter well. This locality has very small crystals and I collected these about 6 years ago and I have been having trouble getting more ever since. I have more pieces of varying size some a lot bigger some very similar to this size. If anyone wants more of these pieces feel free to contact me and get a whole-sale price for two or more! These make great display pieces, very collectible and make the Geiger counter tick!! Check out my other listings many rare minerals and cutting rough coming soon! !
