Thornton Pickard ‘Amber’Quarter Plate Camera – Very Rare - with 3 film plate holders. This is a Very Rare Thornton Pickard Quarter Plate camera model ‘Amber’ with Thornton & Pickard shutter. The camera is in exceptionally good condition for an item that is more than 120 years old. All the mahogany is in very good condition and the brass is very good. The bellows are in tact and are in a reasonable condition. There is some very slight wear but this is only to be expected for a camera that was made in Victorian times, 19 th century. There are several photographs for your perusal that form part of the description. There is also, with this camera, 3 glass film plate holders and these are in reasonable condition.
