The Three Chuckles formed in the 1950's, and played at various East Coast establishments. In 1954, they recorded a song called Runaround. The song was picked up by RCA Victor and became a hit, peaking at number 20 on the Billboard Charts. They went on to chart two other minor hits before finally recording their one and only album. Soon after, Alan Freed offered them a spot in his movie, Rock, Rock, Rock. They turned down the opportunity for an unknown reason. Then, Teddy Randazzo abruptly left the group for a solo career. This 1956 album, which was recorded prior to Teddy's departure, did not chart well. Because this album did not chart well, this album is a rare find. It's valued at $250 in the Goldmine Standard.
