This Auction consists of a Duncan Miller piece entitled, Three Face or sometimes called Three Sisters. The firm that became known as the Duncan Miller Glass Company in 1900 was organized in 1874 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. John Ernest Miller was hired as their designer and is credited with creating the most famous of all Duncan's glassware lines, Three Face. This pretty covered compote measures 6 1/4" high and 4 1/2" across at it's widest point. It features the three faces on the top and in the stem of the piece in frosted glass. It appears to be in very nice, mint condition. I don't see any knicks, chips, or cracks. So if you were wanting to add to your collection of Duncan Miller or add a piece of elegant glass you just might want to consider this lovely piece. Please LOOK at our other listings as we put on some rather interesting and unusual items. I will always combine shipping. This weighs 1 lb. and have estimated the shipping weight at between 3-4 lbs. to allow for packing material and the box. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING and HAPPY BIDDING!
