THREE SWORDS. Pictured is an ivory handled dress sword with brass guard. Blade designs include military flags and cannons and an armorial shield flanked by rampant lions. 39 1/2"l. And a 19th Century sword with brass grip and guard. Blade is engraved on both sides with a man in the moon, sun with a face and a sword arm extending from clouds. 35"l. Also included is a naval cutlass with brass grip and guard. Black leather scabbard has some wear. 29 5/8"l. in scabbard. The dress sword and cutlass are reputedly French.Condition: The blade on the cutlass has never been sharpened but appears to have some age.
