~ I am downsizing my sewing collectibles ~ This auction is for three wooden needlecases or sewing implement cases. The smallest is similar to the frequently seen Boye wooden needle cases. It is 2-1/2" long when closed. The top of the cap is stamped with the number 62 and the words "40 to 100 cotton." It contains six good quality large eye needles (some "gold eye") that have no rust on them. The next size is a very nice wooden case with domed top or lid, and it contains five metal pieces that fit into five round holes in the bottom section. Three of these are very tiny hooks, either for crochet or lacemaking, I'm not sure. The larges case measures 4" tall with a base diameter of 1-1/2". It is empty, and I don't know what implements it might have held. Could have held spools of thread and needles. Please see my other auctions, as I combine shipping on multiple purchases. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thanks for looking!
