Up for auction are 4 Vintage Tiara Sandwich pattern sawtooth edged dinner plates. Measures approximately 12 inches across. They are in new condition, do not look like they have been used, no cracks, no chips or flea bits. They came from my grandmother's attic when they had been stored for 30 years. Made by Indiana Glass for tiara exclusives in the 1970's. The intricate beaded pattern was designed to obscure the tiny bubbles and imperfections always found in this kind of glass. The painstaking hand press method of production used by Tiara is identical to the original Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. method used in the 1820's. Items carefully packed for protection.
