You are bidding on a STUNNING Rare Tiara Amber/ Red Carnival Glass Indiana 6" Tall Covered 4 Footed Candy Dish Harvest This carnival glass covered candy was purchased at a local collectibles auction and is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Early carnival glass was crudely manufactured. There are maker flaws which include bubbles,straw marks and small forming imperfections. They are to be expected and a part of what makes each of these items truly unique! They have no bearing on the value. This carnival glass covered candy dish was made by "Indiana Glass Co." under the Tiara Exclusives name. It has a 2 tone look as the color changes from a red base to amber rim and lid and orangish lid knob. Just STUNNING! The pattern is "Harvest" which is grapes with vine work. The pattern is on the exterior of the dish with the inside being smooth. This covered candy dish has a four footed base. This is an all around HEAVY glass item. The reflected colors on this piece are bright and very stunning and do not come through well in the pics. Has a WONDERFUL shine in the light! Size: This candy dish with cover on stands 6" tall to the top of the finial. It measures 4.5" in diameter edge to edge across the middle of the largest part of dish.
