This glowing brown water buffalo bone mala is handmade in Nepal. The long mala measures 26 inches in total length plus the extra 1 inch long bead as the guru bead with its burgundy threads, and has 108 beads for counting prayers. It also has side counters, and lovely chunks of faux turquoise surrounded by coral and goldtone spacer beads. Each 8mm bead has been hand-drilled and -strung, so they are not perfectly round like a factory made bead. This is a new, unused mala.
