Next up for auction this week is an Original Tiffany Studios Etched Metal and Glass Calendar Frame in the Grapevine Pattern. This type of frame is often used as a picture frame. One reason is because of it`s nice size, but also because the month and day inserts were lost or missing. There aren`t any inserts with this frame. The calendar frame is in great condition. The grapevine metalwork is superb as is the gold gilt finish. The gold finish has very minor age wear. The pale caramel colored glass is excellent, no chips or cracks. The easel works perfectly. The frame measures 7 1/4 inches wide by 6 inches tall. It will hold a 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch photo. It is properly signed Tiffany Studios, New York, # 940. Please email any questions.
