~TIFFIN Etched Depression Glass Iced Tea Pitcher JULIA~ Up for auction is a very fine original depression era etched glass pitcher for iced tea by the esteemed glass making company, Tiffin. It is in the beautiful Julia pattern which depicts triumphal flames in torches with festooned by laurel swags with bellflowers . The glass of the body is clear, the base and the handle are amber. The glass is similar to the widely popular Fostoria, and the etching is of superior quality. Please note t are 2 more auctions up of Julia pattern Tiffin glassware to match this pitcher, 6 ice tea glasses and 6 stemmed wine goblets. The pitcher stands 9 1/4" high, 8" at its widest - from lip of pour spout to turn of handle, base is 4" wide. Condition is excellent, no chips or cracks.
