With its rich golden colors, and gorgeous patina the bed has its own special glow. The owner purchased the bed in 1970 at an auction in Thomasville Georgia which has its own tradition of excellence in antiques. The bed measures 77.50" long and 57.50" wide and 75.50" tall at the headboard. There are ornate woodcarvings on both the headboard and footboard. Original side rails are included for the be used as a standard sized bed, but a metal frame is also included that allows the bed to be used as a queen sized bed.
