Up for auction is a tin friction 1950's Jaguar racer made by Masudaya of Japan. The car measures 7 1/2 inches or 19 centimeters long and it is complete and original. It is in very good/excellent condition with a terrific glossy blue surface and a tin driver. There are no repairs or touch ups to the paint, it is completely original. There are several small scratches and chips in the paint. The tires are like new and the friction motor works well as does the horn, although the sound it makes is more like a loud squeek than a car horn. The windshield glass looks original but it also looks as if it has been slightly cut down. This is a really nice tin friction car in really nice condition. It is pictured on page 180 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars Commercial and Racing Vehicles. Sorry, still no international shipping. Thanks for looking!!!!
