Fresh from an estate sale in Newport News, Virginia comes this sweet, tiny antique basket. It measures 6" tall to the top of the handle and 4 1/3" across at the opening. I believe this basket is made of stained oak splints. T are some condition issues. The bottom has some broken splints. The basket is misshapen and sits with a distinctive lean. Great patina. Probably dates to the early 1900s.
