A very small English sterling silver pocket vinaigrette by Joseph Taylor (Birmingham,ca 1810*). *Lacking the "Town" and "date letter" hallmarks. Bright-cut engraving on exterior with a gold-washed interior and a simple pierced grille. Hallmarked on inside lid and bottom: Lion Passant (sterling) , IT (maker), King's head. Unengraved cartouche. Size: 7/8" x 5/8". In VERY GOOD condition. Firm & even close. Some light dents on bottom. The scratch on the inside of lid looks worse in my "larger than life-size" photos. Please email me with any questions. Douglas Howard
