Peterman" The "Heart of the Ocean" Lives On Made of Austrian Crystal Not Plastic This Jeweled Necklace is truly spectacular and is sure to attract numerous compliments This is an Exact replica of the Film Prop fo r the "20 th Century FOX" Motion Picture " TITANIC" This special movie commemorative jewel was produced for J. Peterman Company in 1998. A replica of the stunning engagement gift given Rose (Kate Winslet) by Cal in the 20th Century Fox / James Cameron blockbuster movie "Titanic" , this spectacular piece measures 1 3/4" long from the top of the marquise faux diamond to the tip of the heart; it swings from an 18" chain composed of scintillating channel-set faux diamonds. I believe these are Swarovski cut crystals (the finest leaded crystal in the world). They are cut, not molded, stones and have wonderful brilliance. The clasp is the fold-over bar style and is set with two tiny faux diamonds. The faux blue diamond centerpiece is facetted on the face and sits in a ½" deep cage mounting, surrounded by more brilliant faux diamonds.
